Hi,

I am returning to the Uk after 1.5 years in Australia working.

I am having real problems finding cost effective (or any) travel insurance for my one way trip home to the UK. I am stopping off in SE Asia for a few months so don't want to risk expensive medical bills.

I can't apply for UK based insurance because i am not a UK resident. I can't apply for Oz insurance because it is a one way trip and/or I am not australian.

Any recommendations please? I am hoping people visiting this site may have been in this situation before..

you are presumably british though going from your first sentance. can you not get UK insurance at the address of a family member or friend?

This is the only company I could find willing to give me cover for one way to Aus.

Probably only insure from UK but maybe worth trying them.
