Hi new to site

Have been in Australia now for 2 years, my sis is Australian we have a sister in UK who is suffering from cancer.

We urgently want to get her and her 5 year old daughter over here so we look after them, because she has few family members in the UK and lives on her own but the few family members are distant.

Has anyone else gone through/going through this situation? I would really appreciate advise or any info that may help us

I'm sorry to hear your news and can't offer any advice...but I wouldn't see it being too easy simply because of the potential cost to Australia of her care/treatment.

she's australian though so i dont see what the issue is?

unless OP means she is too ill to travel by herself or something?

The sister in Australia is Australian. The OP and the sister in UK are not from what I understand.

Webtom, I feel for you and your family. Can't offer any solution unfortunately, but in this case would suggest professional advice. I hope someone else will come up with an idea.
