Info on Ridgewood, WA?

Hi everyone,
Is anyone living in Ridgewood in WA, or does anyone know anyone who is?
I'm considering buying up there and would appreciate any thoughts or advice you guys and gals might have.

The "Ridgewood" I know is a suburb of Perth (north of the river).

It's just past Clarkson, next to Merriwa, right at the top of the train line and beyond the (current) end of the Mitchell Freeway.
