info for kids
Hiya peeps.
i have two boys aged 11 and 8 who are very excited at the prospect of moving to australia even though is still going to be a long way off. i am wondering if anyone knows of any websites they could go on for some more information in a child friendly format. they would like to speak other kids ideally but also want to know about uniforms for school, animals (my eldest wants to be a marine biologist) and what sorts of things kids in australia do. any help would be very much appreciated. thanks loads. kez.

On both the Brisbane and Perth sites there is a forum for
children.
The Brisbane site is:
http://www.britzinbrisbane.com/
and the Perth site is:
http://www.pomsinperth.com/
On both sites you have to go onto the discussion board
and then go down to the Teenies forum.
My children are also 11 and 8, but are both girls.
The youngest doesn't know anything yet as we
didn't want to start telling people until it was more certain
and she can't keep a secret!!!
The eldest is alternating between great excitements and
worry about losing her friends, missing family etc.
I hope the links are helpful

Re: info for kids
Hi!
I have two boys 12 & 8 and we've been in Sydney since January. If you send me a PM, I will give you my oldest boy's email and perhaps they can have a "chat"!
I'll attempt to post a piccy of them...
Toni.
PS. They are having a ball!!
