Its an easy drive up the highway. A couple of Km down the airport road, and straight onto the highway.

Err.. it two to three lanes, and two or three roundabouts. If you're used to driving in london then it'll seem empty, if used to dorset, then about the same.

Its queensland, where the concept of rush hasn't arrived, and no one honks the horn etc.

Just look out for the fact a large number of Queenslanders can't deal with roundabous, and can't merge
(and before I get jumped on, this opinion comes not just from me, but from a Queenslander!)

And please please watch your speed. Much lower limits than the UK and the police here are sneaky.

And the lorries are twice the size of the UK ones, and don't slow down.. but you'll be fine

Queenslanders are the worst drivers in Aus - again coming from many locals!!
