infant jabs

Hi all
we are after a little help, we are going to Sydney on a 457 next week.
Our son has just turned one last week and is due his MMR jab in oz, is this much trouble to organise due to our visa status.
Any help would be great

I wouldn't have thought so. Couldn't you have it done here before you go??. You will probably have to pay for it in Oz whereas here it would be free. I'm sure the doctors would be able to do it before you went.

because it's so close to going, i did'nt want to take any chances with his health after jabs, paranoid I know.
Also is there drop in clinics, regarding child health like a health visitor in this country.

You're not paranoid. I thought about it after I posted and thought, well if it gives him a fever etc, then it's going to be a really bad trip. Sometimes I don't think before I type

I'm not sure about clinics, but someone will :)
