Hi there
I was an industrial engineer for a very large manufacturing company in the UK and could nt find any work of that type when we got here (5 years ago). I signed up with numerous agencies on arrival but no luck in industrial engineering . Luckily I have a degree in something else and was able to pick up work in that field. I must say I have never seen any jobs advertised here for that line of work, but then I stopped looking after getting my current position. We live in Perth so not much manufacturing companies here, may be different over east??
Good luck with your quest!

I have spoken to many Aussy agents and they are very positive that all skilled migrants should not have many problems gaining employment. One sure tip though, if you are applying for a job over the net make sure you use your spell check facility.....

[QUOTE=The S's]I am told that because of the demand wages are quite good. It depends though on what he is prepared to do. One woman here claims her hubby earns 4X his wage here but that is on fly in fly out.[/QUOTE
think after that will clean the tools for him , he says he points at the job at the moment but doing it won't be problem, thanks for all the info CB
