As far as I am concerned there is only one world. The so called "first world" had to steal from the so called "third world" to become "first world."

In an openly racial society (not all Australians) where they copy Americans in every aspect minus sports they have deprived native Australians of a lot that rightfully belong to them.

Some of the instincts of the convicted forefathers are quite evident even in the present generation. Having said that there are a lot of decent Aussies who respect other cultures.
Saying Aussies should be ashamed of their history while Indians should be proud or theirs is totally wrong. What about all the Aussies that died In WW1 and WW2 defending the world for freedom is that something to be ashamed of and what about all the millions of refugees Aussies opened their country up to and gave a home after ww2 is that something to be ashamed of. What about all the people slaughtered in India during partition ? That shows every country has some things in their history to be ashamed of not just OZ. Perhaps Britain shouldn't have colonised Australia and it would be a part of Indonesia now probably, l'm sure the Aboriginies would be much better off then .
