Default Incorporated Associations

Has anyone ever tried to set up an incorporated association in Australia?

Has anyone ever been a Public Officer of an incorporated association before?

I know the legal requirements but just wondered if anyone has first hand experience of what I'm letting myself in for.

Thanks

I once tried to set up a wine corporation but the grape growers, particularly in the Swan Valley, objected to the proposal. It was all over the media, they nick named me winey walla.

Was it a not-for-profit venture and were you associated?

NFP, the farmers got upset because, I think, I wasn't going to drink the local drop, I found a nice winery in Indonesia to use.
