Default Importing hardwoods into Oz

Does anybody out there have any experience of importing furniture grade (planed all round i.e. no bark present) hardwoods - mahogany, oak, beech etc., and turning blanks into Australia? I have some quite good pieces of mahogany and oak plus some quite beautifully figured turning blanks that I would like to take to Oz when we go to Victoria (specifically Gippsland). Any comments wouls be appreciated.
