Default Importing Ford Transit Camper??

Hey folks!

As you can tell with the increase in stupidly-titled posts my leave date is getting nearer...

Today's question is the result of a beer-induced conversation regarding a beloved Ford Transit van that has been lovingly modified into a very comfy camper. Obviously after a quick research of vehicle prices in Oz the thought of taking said van has become a topic to research...thats where you come in!!

Any thoughts / advice / stories on shipping vans over - I'm willing to accept things may get messy re modifications ect...but a basic starting point would be excellent.

and yes....I am starting to feel a bit sick right about now....

Boo

How soon are you moving over?

Not sure if it is worth bringing the van over. I wish you all the best though.

Thanks - I'll take all the best wishes I can get! Hoping to make the move at the end of January or beginning of Feb...if you can believe it I haven't even decided on what state haha Just when I think I've decided I see somewhere else...or notice a really good job that makes me think I'd be better off somewhere else...!

It's all getting a bit silly really!

Decide on a State and then read up on the requirements.
