immunisations anyone in oz???

Hi,

was just recalling a post about kids immunisations. Can't quite remember all the details but it could have been about hep B ?

Do the kids need any different jabs than those they already have from here?

Do we need to take medical records for the whole family or is this somthing people do just incase?

Anybody know anything?

we have asked for our medical records, the medical centre are not being very helpful at all. they reckon its too much paperwork for the 6 of us. i would also like to know if we really need to take them,???? we have not had any serious medical complaints so i suppose we dont urgently need to take them. they want up to £50 each for them, so i think i.l tell them to forget it.

AS far as Im aware Hep B is not on the standard vaccination list for kids here.
Medical records, just make sure you have a list of what and when vaccinations you all have, medical problems, surgery, regular prescriptions etc. Probably just a letter from your Dr detailing important stuff would surfice.
Hope this helps.

We were asked for £25 each for photocopies of our medical documents, but were offered a medical report for free. I don't think it's possible to get the originals. Hope this helps.
