Default Immigration companies.

Hello all.....I am new to these forums.

I just wondered if any Brits on here had used the services of migration companies for their visa applications?

My partner and I are looking to move to Australia, ( Brisbane ). I like the idea of just paying a company to sort out our visas so we have as little hassle as possible.

There are so many companies out there offering this service, I wondered if anyone had used one - which one, and what your views were on them.

Also an idea of costs would be great.

We would be moving with a view to it being permanent and would be applying for visas via the skilled worker route.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Tony.

Hi Tony,

We're using Access Migration in Northampton.
www.accessmigration.com
0845 644 5607.

No problems so far. We are waiting for our TRA to be approved which should be any day now.

As for costs, Access charged us £464 to sort out the TRA and submit it. This is non-refundable. Then we paid about £206 to get it fast tracked.

Then we'll pay £705 for the actual visa application which is refunded if we don't get the visa (subject to certain conditions).

Then £346 to sort out the sponsorship part (non-refundable).

Don't forget that the Pcc's and Meds cost as well. Not sure how much exactly (I'm sure someone else on here could answer that), but I'm expecting to pay quite a few £hundred for 5 of us

All in all, I reckon the final cost will be about £2500. Not cheap this emigrating lark

Please check these prices with Access beforehand though as their Costs/Conditions may have changed since we started out.

We are on a 138 Skilled Australian Sponsored visa.

Hope this helps.

Good Luck

Julie

Thanks all.....

I have started some tentative e-mails to companies, we'll have to wait and see what happens from here.

I will keep the other copy of this thread up-to-date and leave this duplicate one, ( as I posted here initially by mistake ).

Cheers....
