I'm leaving...soon!!
 

Hi everyone

Well after more than two years it is finally my turn to do the off. I fly on Sunday to Australia via a 10 week trip around South America. It should be a great trip, and after years of talking about emigrating, the time has come to finally do it.

So, I may not be online much this week as I am busily sorting stuff out - the Shippers come on Wednesday so I'll report back how that all goes (I'll be back online to say see ya before I go).

I also left work last week and had a leaving bash then. That was all good. And I have the big, full-on, leaving do on Friday.

So this week is busy busy busy.

First time I've heard of someone going a 10 week SA route.

I feel a sort of empathy with you Super as we both joined at about the same time and I remember that we both went through the same "mill" in the visa application process.

Thanks for the kind words everyone....I will be back online later in the week, and will give an update on the shippers after they have been and gone.

I've spent the day sorting a lot of stuff out in preparation for their arrival including taking apart flat-pack furniture....oh what fun :)

Will be a relief when they have taken our stuff away....then we have to live out of a packpack for 4 days before we do the off.

Our leaving party is on Friday, the house inspection is on Saturday and we are outta here on the Sunday.

I hope so mate......we have spent so long talking about it it's definitely time to get on with it now.
