By the way mate, this is OzT here not the TOz of a few days last week.
They had conscription in Oz at the time of the 'nam war and this was a medical you didn't want to pass! One of the jokes at the time was to make sure the doctor's dog didn't lick the Vegemite off your knees while you were in the waiting room.
I also remember that classic from 'Porridge' when the prison doctor pointed to a container on the window ledge and asked 'Fletch' to fill it. 'What from here' he replied.
And DelBoy in the doctor's surgery when asked 'do you ever have trouble passing water Mr Trotter?' replies 'yeah, I do get a bit queasy when I pass over 'ammersmith (or whatever) Bridge'.
