I am here a year - and I would love to win the lottery, especially seeing I as I do not do it! Husband does!! But if I was in the position last year I would still have emigrated even with the lottery win. There are lots of advantages to having PR, one of them is even with having loads of money after two years you can apply for citizenship if you apply and if successful - an Aus passport, the right to return as you want not always available just because you have a house here and all the issues of FIRB etc.
Obviously just a point of view!

Regards Sandra

Your chances of winning are only slightly less if you don't actually buy a lottery ticket.

I'd buy the company I work for and fire my obsequious boss.
