Default If you have been declared Bankrupt
Hi guys,

We have been telling eveyone who will listen about our plans to move to Oz, just wondering if you guys can help out, we have some friends who said they would love to do the same as us but they were made Bankrupt a couple of years ago and they seem to think it will stop them getting visa's?

Anyone have any ideas? or any advice for them?

No. Credit history doesnt follow you. Visas go on your jobs, qualifications and abilities - not whats in your bank account.

nope it won't affect them at all. I went bankrupt a few years ago and got a visa no probs as your credit rating has nothing to do with it

Spoke to the Australian Embassy and it does not effect you, just thought i would update everyone, thanks for your help
