Default Which IELTS format for Skilled Independent (ACS)?

Hi there,

some posts on this forum mention that IELTS results aren't required for a skills assessment through the ACS. Great, my wife and I will do our IELTS in november, and my ACS assessment can start even earlier!

My question: which IELTS format (Academic or General) do I need for my Skilled Independent application at DIMIA, when going for an ACS assessment (ASCO 2231-13)?

Booklet 6 says you generally need a 'General' IELTS format, unless stated otherwise by the assessment authority. I haven't found any information on this at ACS. I know IEAust requires the Academic track...

Any ideas, anyone?

thanks!

Stijn
