ICT Agencies C-Level Positions
Hello All,
We finally arrived in Melbourne last Thursday after a months break in the heat up north Queensland and I now know what you all meant when you posted that Melbourne can get cold. My Husband and I (both in our forties) have started the tasks of accommodation and Job hunting. On the Job front I was wondering if anyone would be able to point be towards the Main Agencies in Melbourne that are the go to for the senior C-level positions within the ICT industry. We have looked at seek and will continue to do so, but it is obvious that the same position can be posted by numerous agencies. My husband has held these level positions before so we though it may be advantageous to meet and speak to the main agencies before just being another resume responding to a job. We have PR visas and are also going down the track of contacts from previous jobs and people we have worked with. I have read here that often agencies don't really don't want to know you until you have a position but it would be good to know the main agencies anyway. So hopefully someone may be able to advise us. Its great to be able to post these in the same time zone instead of having to wait over night in Ireland to see your responses. Anne |

At C level I'd expect your husband will need to focus on networking rather than applying via internet adverts. Otherwise depending on industry maybe something like the Financial Review may be more suited
