Can somone please answer my question about tax.

My situation is that Im in England and my Wife and Daughter are in Adelaide, until I sell the House...........my question is can I send her money on a regular basis (every month) without her being taxed.

can you put it into a credit card account that you hold in the UK, that is if she has the card with her. Suzette

I was in similar situation when my husband was back in UK. I used my UK atm card to withdraw cash from our UK account. We had HSBC account in UK and I could use any atm machine here showing cirrus or maestro symbols. There was a small charge added for the transaction, some banks more than others, but cant remember which, but this worked out the best solution for us.

I assume you're taxed in the UK at present? In which case I would assume that the fact you reside in a different country temporarily would have no bearing tax-wise on your paying the bills through the wife - she's not "earning" it, in other words - so no tax liability.
