I need a landline telephone.........Not to bothered about internet.
Which company has the best offer at the moment for just line rental and or small internet usage?

We've gone naked!

No homeline, just broadband and a VOIP phone. - $50 a month.

Nobody is really interested in the POTS stuff anymore. Telstra takes it as a cash cow and charges accordingly. If you can avoid it, I'd echo the suggestion to go voip. More flexibility, with the potential to have UK and Aus VoIP lines delivered to the same home phone, or indeed to your mobile when you are out and about. Much more the future of things.
