Thanks

I dont' want to be glued to it but it comes in handy at times when distraction of kids needed to do necessary chores, cooking etc. Or I'm expecting when we move out there it will be the need to distract while i try not to scream and track down that plate size spider thats just run across the floor headign in the direction of bedrooms

Trouble is - I don't think it's a viable solution for expats. I mean, you need a broadband connection at your exclusive service in the UK, which would probably mean an extra phoneline in someone's house, plus the TV itself such as a Sky subscription or Freeview of whatever, plus you need somewhere to install it and finally you need someone to check on it if it needs reseting or whatever. If you've got the readies go for it though. And tell us how it pans out.

Hmm will this work ?

My dad has sky tv, he will be getting a broadband connection cause he'll want to chat to us? And I can pop him a text anytime ?
