i know were paul is
to all those who were wondering where our friend paul read had got to. he e.mailed me today. and although has not really got settled in yet i.e job and house. they are enjoying themselves and as soon as he gets back on line with a speedier line connection he will post to say he still loves us all.

Now now kids, no fighting please. Yvonne, I'll send you a mail today, and Shaun, stop winding her up. Otherwise she won't invite you when she hosts a BBQ for all the Expats in Melbourne...
Sorry I've not been around, it's just a real pain in the &*% browsing the web on my dinosaur laptop, with a snail connection and the phone cable draped across the apartment for the kids to play with. We're still living in serviced apartments in East Melbourne, and I'm still looking for a job. At the moment the SAP contract market is looking healthier in Sydney, so we might end up there, at least for a while. Until we get a job/long term rental house, we won't get a faster PC/Cable connection, so it might be a while before I get online seriously again.
Had a quick look at recent posts, good to see that some things never change (Baldbutts completely 100% immigration-relevant post about his dogs licking it's balls), and also disappointing to see that some other things do not change (you-know-who on their campaign to persuade people not to go to Oz). Anyway, better go, as the little one (who turned 1 on Sunday, and has been taking her first steps) is using the modem cable to help her top teeth come through. I should coil it up before she gnaws through it completely.
