Finally arrived after a 25 hours lengthy flight!!! And here I am!!! Excited!

Currently staying at Elizabeth Street in CBD. Went out for a walk yesterday and loving it! It's great! Food everywhere, great weather, friendly people... Everything is so convinient. Endless compliments...

Night time is abit quiet tho.

What do you guys do after work? Any nice bars to go or perhaps any nice place to know some brits expats?

A lot of things are hidden away in Melbourne CBD.

One place I know is always heaving on Saturday nights is Chapel St, Prahran. Catch the train to Windsor and make your way back along Chapel St towards the city - you find loads of buzzing places - you might need to walk a few minutes before you hit the first places. Many of them are primarily cafes by day. On a warm summers evening (and even a cold winter's one) you'll find hundreds of people getting sozzled al fresco.

It has been very quiet these past couple of days in Melbourne. I'd say lots of people have gone on holiday! Driving around town has been great though, but yeah, the nights are quieter than usual. I reckon it will pick up in the next couple of weeks.

Anyway, right now, you'll get some buzz at night along Chapel Street, Prahran and Brunswick Street, Fitzroy (was there last night) - lots of bars - and maybe also Fitzroy Street, St. Kilda, but haven't been there recently. There are tons of other places but these are probably the most reliable at this time of year.

Lygon Street Carlton is a busy strip too. Lots of restaurants etc and not far from where you are.

It's my first day at work today and I was furious to see they actually gave me a pentium 4 giant desktop? The mouse doesn't even have a roller on it?! Conservatively it should be at least 10 years old?!?! I'm using windows 98?

Worst thing is, it doesn't support USB? Coz USB ports don't exist 10 years ago?! Damm!!!! I never thought OZ still uses such old machine? In UK we only see them in car boot sale for 5ver?

Am I in the right country but the wrong company or what?!
