I love these articles, aussie docs earning $144,000, its like when aussie nurses were earning $80,000. Yet the docs walking out of state hospitals such as Caboolture and those leaving australia so they dont get sent outback are saying more like $60,000. Most docs leave australia to earn more. Of course those in private do earn that, but thats not where the job shortage is, its in the state hospitals and as always plenty of positions outback.
