Need a little help and info have looked in search but find there is many info in which i am a little confused.

Here is whats happening i am going away next year on a working holiday visa i could if i wanted open an hsbc bank account when over there which would be easy but i want to set it up here and open one before i go as its on less thing i will have to do when i get there.

i have been on hsbc website in australia and have applied for an account i was emailed and told to fill in some forms one being id record signatory-100 point check in what i read i need to take this to a hsbc branch near my home.

what if i dont have one near me? is there other ways this can be done without going to a hsbc branch or am i best to do this.

i am not sure if i read it wrong or not but can another bank fill this form in for me like my own bank or does it have to be hsbc.

i am confused as to who i see or who can do this forms etc.

can anyone give me in detail what i should and should not do and what i can and cant do so i can get this sorted.

i could as said wait till i get there next year and open one but i would rather do it here i have these forms on me now to fill up but not sure what i best do.

I think it has to be a branch of HSBC but if you ring the International Business centre they will be able to tell you
