Finally exchanged yesterday after a 13 week wait from when the chain was formed.
I'm knackered after all the worry but to anyone waiting, it DOES happen.

Definatly get another agent on board.
Our first agent was s**t, so decided to get another one on board to sell our house. In the first two weeks we had four viewings, two potential offers........

Have not accepted one as yet as we have a lady from Spain coming to view in the first week of December....cash buyer and no chain and she is desperate to move quick so holding out till then....

Hi everyone
Left our house yesterday, now stopping at my sisters until we fly out Dec 30th. She and her family are in the Caribbean for two weeks but when they return there will be 10 of us in her house for 3 weeks,OMG !!
Was gutted to leave our house, even though thats the plan!!
Nothing but praise for the shippers, very careful with our stuff, quick and clean workers and answered my many questions with a smile.
Oh well another large hurdle over.

We finally exchanged late yesterday afternoon with completion on the 9th.
Everything is finally falling into place and we'll be in Sydney on 13th December.

£5k less than the asking but hey - what's five grand when it means we can go to Oz!
Hardly any chain so hoping for a quick completion.

We had no interest in our house for 4 months! We changed estate agents and had 3 viewers in 2 weeks then we dropped price from 238.000 to 223.000 our minimum and i put private advert on a local web site and sold it that weekend to a private buyer(no estate agent fees).
