how to transfer your money?
For those who have moved to the Oz, what's the best way to transfer your money? Get a Bank Draft before you move? Wire transfer after you get there?

Open an Aus Bank account before you go with HSBC or Commonwealth and then move the money in when you have it. Higher exchange rates paid for larger amounts. Activate the account when you get to Aus, pick up bank cards etc. Then if you want to change bank accounts when you are here easier done.
I only know of HSBC and Commonwealth - there are some earlier threds on this subject if you do a search on banks you may get more information.
