How stupid am I?
Must tell you all this story, even though I feel like a twit.
A friend and I went to Perth in may to check out place,both or families are emigrating.
We took a day off looking at schools,houses etc. I wanted to feed some Kangaroos and koalas so we headed for a wildlife park in the hills. We had a lovely day and i absolutely fell in love with the wallabies, they liked to have their backs scratched, and they had big black eyes and long, long eyelashes, they were just gorg.
The next day we were having an early morning stroll along Scarborough beach, when we overheard a man shouting to his son " quick,quick the wallabies are up here" My friend and I got all exicted at giving them a cuddle and scratching their backs, looking at the eyelashes etc etc. We walked to where the man was calling, and all we could see were about 20 beefy men sat on the floor doing some kind of training. We were gutted that there were no wallibies to scratch and walked off in a huff.
Later we were informed (much to the HUGE excitement) of the hotel staff, that the famous RUGBY TEAM the wallibies had been spotted on scarbourgh beach that morning, and they were GUTTED that they hadnt got there autographs. It turns out these guys are WA eqivalent to David Beckham, and we were upset because they werent small and furry!!!!
