Is it possible to open a PO box in oz before leaving the UK if so how. Problem is we have no family in oz so cannot use their address and will be moving from rental to rental a lot

Before we had secured a rental property in Oz we planned to forward our mail to family in the UK and then get them to forward it to us. Not sure about a PO box?

However, you have to show 2 pieces of ID to get them so I do not think you can open one before you arrive in Aus. However, a way around it would be to check here http://go.mappoint.net/mbe/PrxInput.aspx as you could consider opening a private maibox.... these are found in most UPS stores across Australia.... I have located a few in Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide, Sydney & Melbourne....
