How is public transport in perth
 
How is public transport in perth? Can i stay there without car say 6 months after immigrating? How is Bus/Train frequency, every 10 min.?

Public transport is good, but life without a car would be pretty hard for you if you are staying in the burbs.

For a city of it's size, it's quite good. It's cheap too & in some cases, free.

It's very very good mate. Spotlessly clean and modern.

We lived in South Perth for 6 months without a car. Would spend around a quid to get over to the CBD on a ferry, buses were always on time, most air conditioned and very comfortable, and the trains were ten times better than the UK.

The CAT buses in central Perth are all free.
