How much did your one way flight cost?
Hi
Have been searching for costs on one way flights from Glasgow to Sydney, economy class of course! Have been getting quotes from £1500 to £6000. Yes £6000 for 2 adults and 2 kids! Ouch.
How much did you pay and how did you book with (if that's not toooo nosey). Also wondering if anyone has booked through www.airline-network.co.uk their prices seem nearer to what we can afford.
Cheers

We booked our flights with expedia, 2 adults 1 child from glasgow to perth and we were £1,100 in total. I know you are off to Sydney but im sure you will get better information from someone else. Also 3 years ago we booked with Airline network and they were spot on.
Good luck

Thanks for that. Never really considered Travel Agents. Used one when we validated and it was our worst experience.....apart from the lost luggage, no kids meals etc etc.....

We booked our flights to Brissie last month with Airline Network and they were very good. (Didn't use them this time as they seemed to struggle to get us to San Fran although Travelmood had no problems with this route )

Re: How much did your one way flight cost?
My tuppence worth from my own research:
flights on mondays and tuesdays are normally cheaper than other days.
September/ October seems the cheapest time to fly.
Heathrow - Perth booked on Singapore airlines own website was cheaper than all the other sites I tried.
4 adults 1 child £2089 one way. inc taxes
