Try Anglo Pacific in London if you havent already. Very good and super service. Have used them a few times now.
Paid around 3000 pounds 2 years ago for the last one for my car. We got the contents of a large 3 bed house, including a workshop and three sheds and a bit from the loft in a Reefer 20' and had we known before, we could have just got the cement mixer in as well but we'd given that away by then. John Mason's are excellent. |
Re: How much in a 20ft container?
Hi Cheryl
I reckon they are over estimating too. We bought all our wardrobes (3), other bedroom furniture, king size bed (no mattress), 2 single beds, all toys, our bikes (not kids), loads of CDs, DVDs, LPs, books, pine living room unit, bedside tables, bookshelves, tools (no lawn mower), TVs, computer, big mirrors, pictures, coffee table. We didn't bring sofas or dining suite as they were old second hand things but we bought everything else I guess from a 3 bed house. We paid 3100 plus insurance with Atlantic International Movers but I did get a good rate from a distant rellie. Hopefully see you again fairly soon :) Lou xx |
