how much 2 take
from the sale of our house we should clear £100,000uk would this be a good figure to start a new life in oz 4 me, the wife &2 kids looking at moving to perth would we be able to buy a 3/4 bed house and be mortgage free or would we need to top up with a mortgage any help please

£100,000 is about $233,000 so you may be struggling to buy outright.

Don't forget about buying white goods, car etc....... I assume that will be from the 100k also

You will struggle to buy outright but then its a bloody good start and you,ll also have the sun on your backs try www.realestate.com.au to get an idea of prices

Exactly, However we were lucky to win the lottery and are ttaking 3 million pounds

After seeking months of financial advice from various sources have decided against property investment, buying that Ferrari that i've always wanted, speedboat or even the holiday home in Krabi .
However with the Ten pound win - im thinking of really splashing out and getting a couple of glasses of Tooheys.
