yep another vote for ozforex .

Been using them for a number of years now and transfer completions are quicker than ever and rates that won't be bettered.

Did some fairly large amounts just recently which had to be spread over a number of instalments without any hassle. Have also just used their forward contracts for the first time which gives you an even better rate if you set the transfer up in advance.

Wow After reading the above comments, I have just got dynamic and joined Ozforex. I then got some quotes to transfer $AUS10,000 to GBP.

Ozforex would give me GBP 6325, and charge a $15 fee. I logged onto the Commonwealth Bank and they would give me GBP 6064, and charge me a $22 fee. That is over 250 quid extra.

Ozforex give some comparisons with other banks on their website (I see a slight difference between what I got from the Commonwealth Bank online and what Ozforex quote - might be the time difference because my quote was at 4:00:00PM):

0.6125* GBP 6,125.00 St.George 133 330 Wednesday, 10 October 2012 8:57:32 AM
0.6071* GBP 6,071.00 Westpac 132 032 Wednesday, 10 October 2012 11:53:51 AM
0.6069* GBP 6,069.00 ANZ 131 314 Wednesday, 10 October 2012 8:57:29 AM
0.6064* GBP 6,064.00 NAB 132 265 Wednesday, 10 October 2012 8:57:32 AM
0.6050* GBP 6,050.00 Commonwealth 132 221 Wednesday, 10 October 2012 8:57:30 AM

Another thing to consider is the support and customer service. I've had 2 very minor issues with Ozforex over ten years, one my own fault and one confusion over fees - both sorted over the phone quickly and pleasantly.
They do have an advertising presence on BE but that is comparatively recent. For years before that they have been supportive of the site, and one of their managing director level staff, Matt Gilmour has been a member of BE for ages and is always happy to help solve problems.

Everytime we change $10,000+ to Pounds Sterling with ozforex we do not pay commission so its even better and I sometimes wait if I think its a bit of a low rate their agents usually give sound advice about the markets and usually I get a better rate in the end.
