How many people would be interested in a short term house share in North Brisbane
Hi
Just wondering... as my friend is thinking of making her house available (obviously at a reasonable cost, not just out the goodness of her heart) as a house share for people newly arrived in the Brisbane area for those who want some where to stay until they find a more permanent rental, if people would be interested?
She is child and dog friendly living and lives with in a cars drive of the city or the train line.
She doesn't want to start advertising until she knows if there's a demand.

I'd have thought it would be great. Lots of singles going over and knowing no one.
Good luck to her.

Lot of people only need a place for a few weeks before they move on to a permanent rent so think having a flexible house share would be preferable to being stuck in an apartment or cabin etc. for first few months.

It's that first short term rental that doesn't cost a bomb that is often hard to find. So I think it could have a steady if flexible stream of people passing through if there is interest.

I think it's a good idea Just so long as she vets them to make sure they're not psycho! Not sure what the vetting test for that would be though
