Hi can anybody give me an indication of how long they had to wait for their Visas after the medicals and Police checks have been submitted. ours were received in Adelaide on the 21st March, we have also submitted our $5000 Bond on the 12th April but have heard nothing since. The postman thinks I am stalking him as every day I am looking out the window for him. After all this time we have become very impatient and now cannot wait to go.

Meds sent 28th Jan and visa granted on MArch 18th.

Hang on in there, nearly there now.

Thanks, due you think it is worth sending an email to the CO just to give them a little nudge or just hang in there.

I know it probably seems like a life time, I know ours did, but your bond is not there THAT long, must admit we did not need Bond, so not sure how that works, but try and leave couple of weeks yet. They are not that crash hot on people emailing for progress reports. If you have an agent, then they of course will have contacts who can find things out for you.

While it is frustrating to hear this, be patient, it's on it's way now.

Ours were only a couple of weeks but don't panic it will give you plenty of time to do all the work that come after the visa is granted, stress stress and more stress

We received visa grant today, our bond was paid couple of days before you. So it wont be long. Get the champers chilling.
