How Long 'til Entry After PR Granted?
 

Does anybody know, after PR has been granted, how long you have to enter the country in order to 'initialise' the Visa? Some people tell me 6 months, others say 12 months.
Or does it depend on the expiry of your medicals/police checks - ie. 12 months from the issue of these?

it depends on the expiry of your medical/police checks. I have just received my Visa Grant letter (20th May) and I have until 1st March 2003 to activate the visa.

I was given only 6 months as I have signed the Health Undertaking. My first entry
date is on the 13th November 2002.
