How long should I wait?

How long should I wait?
Hi,
I'm a January 2006 137 STNI applicant
I got a case officer in the middle of May 2006 and sent PCC's (received 3rd July) and medicals (received 10th July)
It's now 3 weeks since I sent my medicals. I contacted LCU and they said "meds are processed"
Should I now contact my CO? I'm not sure what the average wait is for visa decision after they receive meds.
Anyone got any views on this? Any advice is appreciated
Thanks,
AL

Ours took 5 weeks. We did have to do a change of address and used that just to jog our CO's memory about our application. Got the visa 2 days after we emailed that
