How long?? Shipment question

Our shipment is due to arrive tomorrow and was wondering how long we will have to wait now.

What are other peoples experiences??

Depends alot on how backlogged AQIS and Customs are before your stuff is cleared, which is normally not long with exceptions just before and after Christmas or when a larger than normal volume of containers arrive at once. Also depends if the ship is on time. After that you usually have a week to organise collection before you are charged storage, but can differ from agent to agent. Notification usually by mail, relying on Australia Post to deliver promptly.

Recommend you contact the shipping agents on this side and ask them to advise of their estimated delivery to youo date and then you will know what the backlog may be :)

Our stuff arrived on 13th June and was in the house by the 23rd with no drama's. Mind you it was held up a week in Singapore prior to that....
