We have been allocated a case worker in feb 06, date set for all info to be into DIMIA on 20/4/06 ( meds, police checks,P60). How long are people waiting after this date for notification of visa granted. insanity is slowly taking over!!!!
we have applied for 136 on modl
Does anyone know if DIMIA work weekends?

I'm not on a 136 so can't help from personal experience, but at the moment Dimia do seem to be working at the weekend. There have been a few people on here lately that have heard on a Sat/Sunday.

Can any one else help MJK please

Hi guys

We are 136 MODL (hairdresser), TRA was passed on 20th Oct 05 (fortunately only took 3 days for them to pass it as they recieved it on 17th Oct 05) and our 47sk appl was picked up by DHL on Fri 16th Dec 05 and was recieved and ack on Mon 19th Dec. Our credit card was charged on Wed 21st Dec 05. We frontloaded out Police checks (dated from 9th Dec 05, wasn't aware at the time that it could affect our validation time, but ideally we would like to be out by Nov 06 at the latest-fingers X!)
Our meds are booked for Tue 30th May 06 with the hopes that they would have been requested by then. Our ack letter said our application would be processed in 'approx 4-5 months' (which will be approx 19th Apr- 19th May 06) and our case officer will contact us to advise of next stage and the 'approximate processing time for a MODL appl is 6 months'.

So far we have heard didly squat from DIMIA!!!!!!

if your on 136 modl its usually between 3 and 4 weeks

we had our meds done 23dr feb.. 8 weeks ago .. not that i am counting.
I hope to hear this week, but have been saying that since visa went in at end of Oct.
