Question How long from lodging bond to getting visa?

We lodged our bond with WA Treasury 4 weeks ago and we've not received our grant letter yet.

We know of people who did it the same time as us and have had theirs!

Our agent has spoken to our case officer who has said it's on her desk but she's very busy at the moment!!!!!!

We are now homelss....living with in-laws in Devon (very nice though!) jobless, furniture on it's way with PSS and the cat flies out on the 1st July.

Very impatient and wanting that visa so we can book accomadation and flights now.

Anyone else out there in the same boat as us with the bond ??

Hi
Our bond money was received on the 27th May and we are still waiting.
Our agent contacted the case officer to make sure she had received the confirmation form. She replied and just said that they had received the form. Nothing else just that they had received it. She could have at least said we will be issuing a visa in x weeks or something.

Cheers

Gazza

We used Golden Arrow shippers in Shropshire. They are really professional and the cattery/kennels are lovely and in the most amazing setting.

The cost to fly him there were £754 (I think) but we've had to pay extra as he's staying with them for two weeks prior to flying out.

My hubby is gutted at the cost....reckons that's his wide screen T.V gone up in smoke then!! All heart he is!!

Thanks TraceyW, my husband reckoned it would cost £1500, I said I didn't think it was that much, but he'll probably still think that is too much aswell

lol

My hubby only agreed to taking the cat if we couldn't find him a REALLY good home.....I asked close friends, family, people I could trust to take care of my baby .....hubby wanted to put a full page spread in the Bargain Pages and offer to pay someone to take him off our hands!!

He has actually said that if the cat fails to make it through his long journey to Oz (God willing, he will) he will be getting him stuffed and sitting him on display in the lounge just so he actually has a cat in Oz!!!!

Just hope he doesn't do the same to me should I peg it en route!
