Hi, never posted before but check the site out all the time and found it really useful. I have a query, looked on other threads but not found the answer - we have recently been granted a visa, 139 skilled designated area sponsored, and are heading to just outside Melbourne later in the new year. We are a bit worried about finding work, with this visa could we get a job in Melbourne? or, as we have never been to Australia and find we do not like it in the area we are headed to, how long before we are allow to move to say Perth, where my husband has got other relatives???

We have the same visa as yourselfs. Unless they have changed the rules since May you are not restricted to where you live. It is only the Sponsor who has to live the designated area. Our Relatives live in Townsville. We will be moving to Brisbane, Which is not a designated area.
