how long did it take the meds req when papers where in pls?
Yeah how much cheese is on the moon and how long did it take for the meds req to come after you put in the application?

We got our requests in less than 13 weeks which is a lot quicker than most at the moment, we've been allocated a CO from region 5 as region 3 are so snowed under. It caught us by surprise as most people are getting their requests at around 20 weeks lately and we hadn't even got round to doing our medicals as we thought we had plenty of time. We haven't exchanged on the house yet though so didn't want to book meds or send off for police checks too early.

We got ours 9 weeks after the request went in which was the day before Xmas. So with a week of downtime for the holidays, it was around 8 weeks.
Visas were granted 4 weeks after receipt of medicals.

well we have been waiting 8 wks now so hopefully won't be much longer!
Saying that I bet it ends up being November/December LOL now I have said that!

Cheers Guys,
I was thinking of front loading as we want to get the medicals done and have a really good christmas, I feel like I can't if I have the medicals looming over me. This will be my last christmas here and when we put our application it it will have only been in 8 week before the medicals go off.
should I wait, what do you think?

No CO assigned, no nuffin, we are MODL. They must have a pecking order on the MODL I reckon.

I have a house to sell but I am not selling it until I have a visa in my hand. I don't think I could put my eggs into one basket.
