Hi,

I'm sure this has probably been done before but my nails need a reprieve!!!

How long, roughly, was it before you were assigned a CO and meds requested etc, after you lodged your main visa application?

We lodged in Jan 06 and I would really appreciate knowing how long to sit back before getting excited and checking my e'mails approxiamately every 30 seconds!!!!!!

Need more beer Oh - -just remembered I've booked meds for 5th May so can't have any of that

here is our timeline:

VISA APP LODGED 25/2/05
CONFIRMED RECEIPT 3/3/05
CHEQUE CASHED 10/5/05
MED & PC CHECKS REQUESTED 8/6/05
MEDS SENT 28/6/05
PC SENT 30/06/05
VISA GRANTED 12/08/05

So about 3 months from sending app to getting CO and med request.
Of course everyone's case is different.

How long is it since you sent your app?

It seems that the average lately for skilled migration subclass 136 has been about 4 months. In the immigration forum, the people who applied late November or early December are just now being allotted their CO. Should be about another month to 6 weeks for you. Then it looks like about another 2-3 months after CO to visa grant.

sounds about right, though it only took us 6wks from sending pc checks to granting and that was delayed cos they lost em

I have just received a request for Meds & Checks and you can see from our Time scale that it has only been two months.

I hope yours is on its way too.
