How Long?
How long does it usaully take from your credit card fee being taken to being asked for meds/police checks being requested? Sorry for all the questions I have posted recently but I'm getting very anxious now!!

Depending on your type of visa I guess, but for us, we submitted our application in Aug 04, fee was taken pretty much straight away...so from memory I would think it was about 3 weeks to be asked to go for meds.

If you did then you will probably get the nod anytime now. Don't forget that the xmas and New Year break will have got in the way, so you are probably (in reality) 3 weeks on from the fee being taken.
Plus, from going through other threads, I get the impression that our case (me and the wife) was very much easier and quicker than most (don't know why!).
Maybe if you haven't heard anything by mid Feb then I'd start getting worried.
