Default How do you locate someone in Aus?

Hi all

Anyone got any ideas how we might trace a friend of ours who moved form the UK to Cairnes?

Have an old postal address but it is a PO Box number

Thanks for any ideas

You are not a debt collector are you?

There seem to be a few on this forum who do not want to be traced when they move to Australia.

In the uk you would look at the electoral register.
i have done a quick google and found the australia electoral commission http://www.aec.gov.au/

no idea if this will actually help but it is where i would start!

They may have kept the PO Box number even if they have moved, I know several people that have - why not try writing to it anyway.

How about posting their Names on here, you never know they may look at this site, or someone else on here may know them.

If you write their name on a boomerang, then throw it, mystic forces will find them.

not a bad idea but i don't think they'll let you check personal details such as name
http://www.aec.gov.au/_content/What/...general.htm#10
and also the people in question have to be resgistered as eligible to vote to be on the aec

i'd ask around some of the discussion boards and look at the white pages as suggested by Pollyana
