Hi All,

I have allready searched this forum and discovered that Uk an Oz
have slightly different standards. I read that it is possible to use a Uk TV so long as you supplement it with an aussie VCR for the tuner. Has anybody done this?

I have a UK TV and aussie recorder and connected them as I would normally (aerial into VCR, and coax lead from VCR into TV aerial socket). I am able to tune in the pictures but still get no sound.

Any help would be appreciated.

Yours sincerely,
Glenn,

Sorry about all these childish post-hijackers. Like I said you need to get a scart lead linked up to the video. If you like I could pick one up & come 'overture' house & fit it. Just leave the 'key' outside...............

No need for 'violins', besides, it wasn't 'hymn' that started it!

Back to original thread - sometimes there are better things than watching the telly in the Uk - wife not always singing from the same hymn sheet and rarely crescendo achieved.
