Finished the jobs on Friday, got an offer for the house on Saturday, movers packed up on Monday, flew out on Tuesday - that's the best way to do it, so fast you don't have time to get stressed.

Yes that is the best way to do it! No time to think at all wish we had been quicker in all honesty took time to fill a skip of 14 year old junk. Also we had a leaving do as well.

Hi,
The worst part for us was the cleaning, every "bloody nook and Scranny" It took weeks to clean Tools, bikes, lawn mowers absolutely everything and guess what, son forgot to clean his bloody football boots confiscated on arrival!!!
Good luck, well worth it though

Would love to be that quick !

But we couldnt commit to moving out until the exchange on the house, takes a while from the offer stage, and plane tickets couldn't be booked until we knew what was happening with the house. Work commitments will also keep me in the UK until the new year, we will be renting for 6 months.

So whilst I would have like to have done everything as quickly as that for us it just hasn't been possible.
