A serious post for a second......

I have been to Sydney 20 years ago.........loved it.

Never been to Perth, but as you say a visit to both would help.

If you had three weeks, would 1 week in Perth, 1 week in sydney and 1 week in Brisbane be do-able for a sense check of each ?

Reminding her that I may be unemployed in Perth for ages is still my favorite line of attack to her inflexibility........
It's always better than no visits!

Pilates or Yoga, then a good old fashined your comming with me girl should do it.

You stole my line!

Seriously though, I wouldn't force the issue...give her the pros and cons and then agree to decide when you get there

Default Thanks

Folks - thanks for all these suggestions.

I printed off the "poisonous snakes in perth" page someone linked me to..................left it on the kitchen table - she ignored it
this morning.......

I'll drop it on her lap tonight again.

So far favorite line of tack is:

I'll be unemployed and we'll struggle financially
50,000 volts treatment
Snakes are everywhere so there's no advantage
